This is a gorgeous and challenging ride through New Jersey and Pennsylvania countryside with a swing by Albert Einstein's family home at 112 Mercer Street in Princeton. Then on to Pennsylvania to look at the Van Sant covered bridge which is said to be one of the most haunted places in Pennsylvania.  Read the story here:

This is a lovely route that takes in two parks, an historical site and some beautiful homes.  First take your time along Jones Rd. as you look at the houses & mansions. Then ride thru Overpeck Park (with very nice restroom facilities), but keep an eye out for interesting birds. On Euclid Ave in the town of Ridgefield Park you'll see a number of war memorials along the median strip. Suburban roads (with a couple of sharp hills) take you to Ted's North Deli to pick up lunch for your picnic in Van Saun Park (which also has nice restroom facilities near the picnic tables).

On this ride we ride through many Queens and Brooklyn neighborhoods to explore the nether reaches of Queens to Laurelton which borders Nassau County.

For those who are interested, the paper cue sheet lists all the different neighborhoods we ride through.  And for those who use turn by turn audio directions on your iphone, the audio will recite the neighborhood in addition to the turn instructions.
