The time you spend on the mat will not only decrease your chance of injury, it will offer you tools to get through those harder workouts on the bike as well as mastering challenging life changes with ease. My yoga practice and teaching focuses on providing therapeutic cues to the athlete and the healer. He attributes his success in <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">athletics and durability in endurance sports to the practice of yoga. He </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">has participated in over 400 athletic events. Among hundreds of others </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">in which he has participated, in 1997, he competed in a ride across New </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">York State and, in 2002, the Vermont 100 mile running road race. Larry </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Lewis has finished 41 iron distance triathlons, a host of </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">ultramarathons, including 18 consecutive JFK 50 milers and 86 </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">marathons, including 32 consecutive NYC marathons. He is a Level </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">1 Certified USA Triathlon Coach. Larry retired from U.S. Customs & </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Border Protection, as the Assistant Port Director, New York/Newark </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">after 34 years of service.
