Introducing YoungMajors NYCC!

The New York Cycle Club (NYCC) and Major Taylor Iron Riders (MTIR) will collaborate on a youth training program this Fall that brings more young people -- with an emphasis on Black, Latinx, and Asian boys and girls -- to the lifestyle and discipline of road cycling. The experience of NYCC’s trademark SIG training series will be leveraged to develop this program.

Our goal is to spread our love of cycling as a transformative lifestyle, and share the wonders and excitement of road cycling to young people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn about the sport.

YOUNGMAJORS NYCC Inaugural Kids Training Program Begins Saturday, October 1st - November 5th, 2022!

We need 10 more bikes

Do you have a road bike that's collecting dust, in great shape but no longer your primary steed? Why not donate it to a young person who can bring a new life to your formerly favorite ride.

Bikes need to be in good working order. We have particular need for smaller sizes. If you have a bike to donate, please bring it to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Saturday, October 1, by 9 am. Contact membership@nycc.org if you have questions.

We still need volunteer leaders

Special thanks to MTIR, Recycle A Bicycle, and USA Cycling for helping us put this together.
