The R&A Social is a monthly event held in our headquarters and home of R&A Black in Brooklyn, New York. It’s an opportunity to mix with like-minded cyclists in a relaxed, social setting, while enjoying a changing line-up of interesting events. Food and drinks are provided free of cost.
This month: Meet Bond - an evening with cycling legend, Mario Cipollini.
In a stellar career spanning the late 80s to early 2000s, 'Cipo' was a world champion boasting over 50 Giro d'Italia and Tour de France stage wins. He is also the face of Cipollini Bikes, Italian made carbon road bikes which include the revolutionary, ‘Bond’.
R&A Social is a rare opportunity to meet Mario and learn about his colorful career as a pro cyclist, while also hearing about the growing Cipollini bike range directly from its visionary. Mario will also be launching a new Cipollini bike,withit's worldwide unveiling taking place at The R&A Social!
On Saturday morning, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to ride with Mario through NewYorkcity and the surrounding areas. An amazing way to kick off your Red Hook Crit Saturday - a group ride lead by a pro cyclist, taking in some of New York’s most spectacular surrounds.
The only way you can receive the starting location to attend the R&A Social - attendees will receive the starting location of the ride by text message following the event on Friday evening.
Entry is free, with food and drinks provided. All attendees will alsogoin the draw to win a Pioneer Powermeter!
Some off-street parking is available adjacent to the building.
