The New York Cycle Club and Transportation Alternatives are proud to present: "Bye Bye to Cars", a historical ride following the last private car to have driven in Prospect Park.
The ride will begin at 9:00 AM, after the barriers are put in place, and follow the last car into the Prospect Park, approximately 1-1/2 miles to Grand Army Plaza, where we will ceremoniously wave good bye to the last private car to have been driven in Prospect Park, forever!
After waving good bye, Eden Weiss, NYCC board member will lead laps around the park for about 20 - 30 more miles, depending on the weather. Starting From: Prospect Park, Park Circle Entrance (Coney Island Ave.)
