NYCC November 2015 Club Meeting

When: Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 6-9:00PM (program from 7-8) 

Where: Connolly's Pub & Restaurant, 121 West 45 Street (between 6th & Broadway), 3rd floor  

What:  Planning the Ride.  For those who want to lead, follow or go their own way.  

- how to plan a ride and design a route

- an overview of the Garmin product line and how to set one up on your bike

- how to tweak Ride with GPS  files to create the perfect cue sheet

Raffle: Member attendees will be eligible to participate in raffle of bike components and accessories, including a Blueprint Aero carbon fiber handlebar.

Carol Waaser is a veteran ride leader and planner.  Her NYCC credits include B-SIG and C-SIG Captain, B-Rides Coordinator, Ride Librarian, Secretary, Membership Director, President and Lifetime Member. 

Gary Rosenberg is North East Regional Sales Manager at Garmin International. 

Michael Kocurek created the Roboviva and Better Cue Sheets sites for converting RideWithGPS files into cue sheets.  This has become the standard format for the SIGs and Ride Library.  Mike will be an A-Classic SIG Leader in 2016.

SPCARBON is a New York City based builder of gran fondo & triathlon style carbon bicycles and also offers discounts on service for NYCC members.

New York Cycle Club, founded in 1936, is the largest such club in the city, an all-volunteer recreational cycling organization that offers its 2,000 members rides at all pace levels; weekend trips; a nationally recognized spring training program; monthly meetings featuring important speakers in the field.  NYCC offers a full calendar of special events, in a friendly environment where you'll meet other, like-minded cycling NY-ers.
