If you are going to climb and descend the beautifully smooth roads in Mallorca, you know that you will want to climb faster and descend more fearlessly and safely.
So coming to you, all the way from Mallorca, Spain, via the British Isles, our special guest speaker, David Williams, Stephen Roche Camp's esteemed general manager and head coach, will be making a presentation, at our next meeting on November 13th about the skills and training necessary to improve both your climbing and descending prowess.
David will also be speaking about the special NYCC week that the Stephen Roche Camp is preparing for this coming February!!!
It is perfectly positioned on the calendar to get you in great shape for the 2013 SIGS and STS. A group of NYCC cyclists "crossed the pond" this past February and luxuriated in the unrivaled beauty of this gorgeous Spanish island, traversing the smooth roads and rolling hills of Mallorca on their bikes, while enjoying the delicious food, comfortable hotel accommodations and courteous service, all provided by the camp's dedicated staff.
In addition, to the featured raffle prize of the "free week for two", the Stephen Roche Camp has generously agreed to sponsor this month's meeting and has donated the following raffle prizes:
- 2 signed 25th Anniversary jerseys (of Stephen Roche's "triple" ... he won the Tour de France, the Giro di Italia and the World Championship in 1987, only the second cyclist in history to achieve this amazing feat in the same year)
- 1 complete set of training camp kit, (bib shorts and jersey)
