We start at Clason Point in Soundview after disembarking from the NYC Soundview Ferry (check NYC Ferry schedule at www.ferrynyc).  We ride through Soundview Park and take a little detour through Soundview to view the NYCHA house where Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor grew up - Sonya Sotomayor Houses, at 1090 Rosedale Ave.   There is optional loop through the SUNY Maritime College, with spectacular waterfront views.

A short ride around Staten Island to see where ships go to die. You'll also see a bit of history as you pass thru historic Richmond Town.  Then you'll glide past the beach on Father Capodanno Blvd and the Franklin Roosevelt Boardwalk.  Bring snack food or stop at a deli to have a picnic on the boardwalk.

This route takes you through many interesting neighborhoods and parks in Queens & Brooklyn.  (Neighborhoods are named on the cue sheet, so you'll know where you are.) Lunch is at Bejako Sekuwa, a Nepalese restaurant.
